The Company

Our client is one of the leading companies in Dubai, UAE.


The Role

The Facility Services Manager will be responsible for the services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the Middle East, India & Africa organization and its employees.


Key Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Review and propose departmental organization
  • Propose and manage departmental budget
  • Supervise all department members
  • Coordinate department activities
  • Manage teams and individual performance management process

Workplace management

  • Office site management
  • Organize and upkeep the cleanliness and maintenance of all sites
  • Choose office supplies contractors based on performance and price
  • Manage company parking (allocation, registration, incidents)
  • Manage Access control (office and parking access, incidents)
  • Organize occupancy data and build/maintain KPIs

Office site expansion

  • Identify future office space requirements (3 years plan)
  • Source additional office space to accommodate future requirements in line with the 3 year plan and company management directives
  • Coordinate office space allocation and layout
  • Plan budget and schedule office modifications
  • Oversee office modifications progress and ensure timely delivery as per budget

Travel Management

  • Ensure travel policy is implemented
  • Review, tender and negotiate contract with travel agency
  • Review, tender and negotiate corporate rates and agreements with hotels & airlines
  • Build/maintain travel reporting

Car Fleet Management

  • Review and negotiate corporate rates with selected brands of cars
  • Organize purchasing process
  • Manage car registrations

Contracts Management

  • Review all contracts (performance, targets, KPI, SLA etc.)
  • Tender and negotiate new contracts and renewals

Service Management (Helpdesk)

  • Monitor incident and service requests through SLA, KPI and employee surveys
  • Build/maintain service desk dashboard & management reporting


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management / Hospitality or similar
  • Preferably CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) certificate
  • Comfortable with figures
  • Ability to read, write & speak English fluently
  • Arabic and French is a plus
  • Advanced Excel
  • 8 to 10 years related work experience in Facilities Management / Office management or Property Management
  • Should have good organizational, planning and budgeting abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Should be pragmatic and solution oriented
  • Should be creative and able to implement new and original ideas
  • Should be able to communicate effectively and have excellent negotiation skills
  • Should be able to lead, develop and motivate teams
  • Should demonstrate initiative and have the ability to build and drive performing teams
  • Should have strong influencing skills
